We love and miss you, so we decided to have a Lovejam Solstice Gathering in Avalon Priory of Glastonbury!

 

Join us as we huddle together cultivating winter warmth around the Lovejam fire in community, setting our intentions for the depths of winter as the light begins seep back into the days. We invite you to come and jam, have fun and connect on this sacred land during a potent seasonal shift. As ever Lovejam is alcohol free and vegan helping us keep a family friendly nature to our gatherings.

Spaces/Performers

This intimate gathering will have 2 separate spaces inside the beautiful Avalon Priory.

​

The Chapel is a space reserved for sacred activities and creates and incredible sound healing vortex due to its spectacular structure and stone masonry whilst the Drawing Room holds a warmer more intimate space allowing people to drop in deep for attentive listening.

We will be bringing ‘sweaty back’ with Tim and his beautifully held sauna space our hero from the summer gathering. 

​

Our Sacred Fire will be held by brother Mantis of the Oneness-jam community just outside in the exquisite courtyard of Avalon Priory.

​

Food 

With 2 Vegan Meals (breakfast/dinner) being sold along with Cacao, beautiful seasonal tea and delicious vegan pastries as the Lovejam Café will cater to our food needs in the most ethical way we can. As ever bring your own plates, bowls & cutlery. 

​

Sleeping Set-up 

We have organised a small sleeping yurt, with a small burner inside for those who like to camp out and brave the elements, however external accommodation is advised. Vans and Campers are welcome unfortunately dogs/pets are not. 

There will be a couple of communal spaces to sleep so bring your mats, blankets and cosy things to help keep the warmth inside.

About Avalon Priory

​

Built by William Stradling in 1836 Avalon Priory itself stands elegantly on upon the Isle of Avalon. The castle is roughly 6 miles as the crow flies west of Glastonbury Tor which is considered the heart chakra of the earth and is visible from the exquisite Avalon Priory tower. The ancient land on which the Priory was built has been used by passing pilgrims for thousands of years, on route to The Tor.

​

Once used as a mystery school and a freemason temple, many have utilised the energy and ley lines which run through the sacred chapel encompassed within the castle. The Priory is now a thriving events space and a vegan, alcohol free, community.

​

It has hosted many events and continues to do so in both modern dynamic and traditional ways such as festivals, solstice events, open mic nights, outdoor cinema evenings and more! Having previously been a museum for religious artifacts. Sculptress, Artist and Scribe Katherine Maltwood converted the space into a home.

Many a myth, both told and untold stories float in the Avalon midst’

Horses roam fields within the 40 acres site along with an orchard and forests in this bucolic rural green landscape where the veil is thin, and the air is fresh.

​

We welcome you to come enjoy the Lovejam Soundscape in the sacred temple of Avalon Priory in which many of the residents will be opening their home to the Lovejam family. We intend to honour and uphold the values of this breath-taking events venue/home as they align so well with Lovejam.
