Yes Lovejam family we are back & with a bang & with something a little different!

This London jam, We welcome some incredible showcase performances such as Facesoul, Kate Fleur Young & Lovejam Londons first ever DJ set with Dj Mattana with her Afro, Latin & Caribbean bangers!

We also have been gifted the one off opportunity to host our event at XXX, a high spec, beautiful 200+ capacity venue situated right in the centre of London. With packed out events at our last 2 gatherings, it will be nice to have a little more space to dance, explore & vibe!

As always, expect heart filled, co-creative community intentions with our jam spaces, fire pit & Lovejam Cafe <3

Performances

• Facesoul: Using art as a vehicle for healing, Facesoul’s message is one with intent. A child of the diaspora & resident of London, 27 year old FACESOUL lives his life in service and offers his music as a form of medicine. He was born in Somalia and raised in London, where he overcame hardships with a powerful determination to find and share life’s beauty. He’s since devoted his life to exploring his spirituality and solidifying the immense power of his voice. Captivating and inspiring with his introspective performances and ability to create a unique listening experience using no instruments other than the sound of his voice. Faisal speaks to your soul.

• Kate Fleur Young is a London-based emerging artist & musician who is known for her captivating live performances that incorporate ritual and ceremony, inspiring audiences to reconnect with their inner landscapes and to Nature. Her mesmerising voice intertwined with the sound of the magical alchemy crystal bowls and electronics highlight the interconnection between the natural world and the cyclical rhythms of life, providing a sanctuary where people can rediscover their creativity and find balance and harmony in a fast-paced world filled with stress and overwhelm. Kate has performed in leading venues and festivals including London’s Barbican Centre,Wilderness, The Round Chapel and 180 Strand. As well as a plethora of unique performances across Europe on the horizon for 2023 Kate has also has a Sound Journey released on Radio 1.

• Mattana is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from London, bringing dance music from around the world to her eclectic sets. Mattana is a strong believer in the power of music to unite and break down cultural boundaries, with her DJ sets reflecting her global influences. Primarily combining Afro, Latin and Caribbean beats, her music style is characterised by an upbeat infectious energy that runs throughout her sets, which she enjoys bringing to dancefloors as well as to community spaces, and using the power of music to bring joy and unite communities, including in her advocacy work. She runs events and retreats for womxn, and also regularly DJs for events & organisations close to her heart, including a range of feminist, POGM-centred and queer events
